It’s B Corp Month

March is B Corp month.

The annual campaign runs through the month, uniting over 8,000 companies across 96 countries and 162 industries to show how the B Corp community is moving business forward.

Firetail has been a certified B Corp for just over a year and we’re proud to be a part of a growing global movement.

B Corps have shared purpose and strong values. Becoming one was a natural progression for Firetail. We have always cared about doing business differently and that purpose and profit shouldn’t be trade-offs. Getting our certification was another significant step in the journey to being a sustainable and ethical business. B Corp gives us the framework to hold ourselves to account.

We know that being a B Corp also matters to our clients. Increasingly they are looking for clear statements of environmental and social responsibility as they consider consulting partners. Certified B Corps have to meet the high standards for social and environmental impact, set and verified independently by B Lab. This helps us to set the bars high – and demonstrate that we keep on reaching them.

Being a B Corp is more than a badge or marketing campaign. Firetail’s commitments to social and environmental impact have always been part of our work. They are fundamental to our values. Being part of the B Movement helps us to focus more explicitly on learning and improving as we work on our own impact as a team.

B Corp Month is a celebration of impact. Firetail has the biggest impact though the work we do with our clients. We are incredibly proud of them and all the work we do together. If you want to find out more, then you can take a look at our recently published Impact Report. It is our first ever and shares some of the highlights of the last year, including some case studies and feedback from our partners.

If you would like to talk to us about your organisation’s impact and purpose, please do get in touch.
