Google are offering £2m in prizes to UK social enterprises that ‘have the potential to change society on a large scale’. Its Impact Challenge will let the public vote for their favourite projects. 2012 awardees included an initiative that used DNA barcoding to identify endangered and trafficked wildlife. READ MORE
